Australian health systems are currently delivering vaccines for COVID-19 to the community. Whilst the vaccination programme continues, all Australians can continue to follow health guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community. In order to protect the safety of all patients, staff and visitors, St Vincent’s Health Australia, St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse have strict policies in place. If you are visiting or being admitted into the hospital or clinic, you will be appropriately screened in accordance with the hospital’s guidelines. There may also be requirements in regards to vaccination and/or a negative Covid test.
Dr Jonker continues to offer both face-to-face and Telehealth consultations. Our office will be in contact with patients in the lead up to their appointments to discuss arrangements, guided by the current rulings set out by the Health Department at that time. Dr Jonker continues to accept new referrals for patients with urgent and non-urgent conditions. Provisions are made for the assessment of urgent cases so that patients requiring critical care for neurosurgical conditions can be reviewed and treated as soon as possible.
